Oh Yoona (오윤아), known professionally as Yoona, was born on August 1, 2006, in South Korea. She is a South Korean singer and dancer, currently serving as a vocalist and dancer in the South Korean girl group UNIS.
Early Life and Career:
Yoona began her entertainment career in 2017 as a member of the girl group Good Day under the stage name Lucky. She later participated in the survival show "The Unit" in 2018 but was eliminated in the third round. In 2021, she joined the group Play With Me Club, a YouTube-based music and variety group, and graduated from the group in March 2022. Additionally, Yoona was a trainee for the group Free In Sass but did not debut with them.
Transition to UNIS:
In 2023, Yoona participated in the SBS survival show "Universe Ticket," which aimed to form a multinational girl group. The show aired from November 18, 2023, to January 17, 2024, featuring 82 contestants from 13 countries. Yoona's exceptional talent secured her a spot in the final lineup of UNIS, ranking 7th overall.
Debut with UNIS:
